A New Chapter

A company merge, a new look, and even more to come; we’re incredibly excited to finally announce some of the changes we’ve been working on this year.

Zeal x co1ab

Originally set up at the start of 2019 by Jon Trincas and Steve Hough to provide an umbrella for their increasing show and production design work, co1ab saw touring designs last year include The Streets, HONNE, Galantis, Bicep and more.

As we worked on a large number of projects together, we began to see the huge benefits of being able to deliver uncompromised solutions to bring visions to life, and do what is required to deliver the best experience.

From there, the concept of creating an experiential production house was born, and at the start of 2020 we brought co1ab under our umbrella to be able to offer a truly unique, fully integrated service.

The merge sees a wealth of design and creative experience infiltrate the existing in-house technical and production expertise, with Steve resuming full time responsibilities as our Managing Director, Jon becoming our new Creative Director, and Jake Humphries joining as a senior designer and programmer.

The merging of services to the events and entertainment industry marks a new and exciting chapter, and we have plenty more in store to share with you in the coming months.

Why the rebrand?

To recognise this new chapter, we decided to refresh the Zeal brand that we have proudly carried since starting back in 2012.

We needed a brand that represents our creativity, passion and energy.  From there the new logo, now known as “The Spark” was born.

The Spark is a kaleidoscope of infinite possibilities, a visual metaphor for our imaginative thinking.  A spark to show that behind our creativity and performance is bundles of imagination.

Behind the fresh look is still the same passionate team and we can’t wait to work with you to produce imaginative experiences.

What’s next?

The news doesn’t end here.  We’re incredibly excited to let you know more, including new members of the team, recent investments, and the projects that we’ve been working on behind the scenes over the last few months.

In the meantime, let’s make imaginative experiences.
